November 2017 was the time for another Xylem Waterdrop Volunteer project, in which Xylem employees and customers from France, UK and Germany were reaching out to Cambodia to solve water for communities in need. A total of three water towers were constructed, in elementary schools close to Siem Reap: each one tower in the Toul Krous Primary School (Banteay Srei), Tumpoung Primary School (Angkor Chum) and Khun Ream Junior High School (Kamprom Village). This Xylem Watermark Project, realized together with our non-profit partner Planet Water, delivers since then fresh, clean water for up to 3,000 students, teachers and the surrounding community, up to 30,000 liters, every day. For the first time, Waterdrop Volunteers also installed 12 household systems directly in the home of families living in communities in need. Twelve Families in the Ta Treiy Village now have sustainable and clean water directly in their home.
